The University of Houston College of Pharmacy (UHCOP) received a $15,000 Diversity Scholarship Award grant from the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Foundation. This grant supports UHCOP’s Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Pharm.D. Satellite Program, which focuses on recruiting pharmacy students and providing community education outreach to underserved populations in the region. The program includes hosting pharmacy camps for high school and college students, as well as offering wellness screenings and health education to RGV residents.
