On Wednesday, May 15, March of Dimes hosted its 42nd Annual March of Dimes Gourmet Gala at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. The National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation (NACDS Foundation) returned for its eighth year as a Platinum Sponsor of the evening.
March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. March of Dimes supports research, leads programs, and provides education and advocacy so that every family can have the best possible start. Building on a successful 86-year legacy, March of Dimes supports every pregnant person and every family.
This year, the Gourmet Gala united 55 Members of Congress for a cook-off competition, more than 100 sponsors, and more than 700 guests. The event, which raised nearly $1.5 million, highlighted the commitment of the community to support March of Dimes’ advocacy, research, and education nationwide.
During the event, Steven C. Anderson delivered remarks in his capacity as chairman of the NACDS Foundation.

Good evening and welcome to the 2024 March of Dimes Gourmet Gala.
I’m Steve Anderson, the Chair of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation. I’m thrilled to kick us off tonight, as we enjoy a fantastic evening with new and old friends and support the critical mission of the March of Dimes.
The NACDS Foundation is honored to be a Platinum Sponsor of this wonderful event for the eighth consecutive year.
The March of Dimes does incredible work to improve the health and well-being of mothers and babies across the nation. March of Dimes is at the forefront of innovative solutions to ensure every mom and baby has a fair chance for a healthy start.
