The NACDS Foundation Faculty Scholars Program is an educational research mentorship program that offers emerging pharmacy faculty the opportunity to gain experience in conducting community pharmacy-based, patient-centered research.

Program participants will bring their research idea from concept to manuscript over the course of the program through a starter grant provided by NACDS Foundation. Additionally, selected scholars will receive individualized instruction from experienced researchers, enhanced educational opportunities with thought leaders, and opportunities to attend national conferences and educational programs.

Program activities will include:

  • Conference calls and small working groups with mentors and fellow Faculty Scholars
  • Online lecture series from community-based research leaders
  • In-person meetings

Application Closed – Will Reopen Fall of 2025

Eligibility:

  • Must be an associate or assistant professor at an accredited U.S. school or college of pharmacy
  • Must have the ability to implement a patient care research project at a community pharmacy practice site

  • Potential community pharmacies where research could be conducted
