Arlington, Va. – On Tuesday, April 17, March of Dimes hosted its Gourmet Gala in Washington, D.C., and the NACDS Foundation returned as a Platinum Sponsor of the event.
The Gourmet Gala makes possible research, education, advocacy and programs that “help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.” The Gourmet Gala brings together more than 600 guests, and more than 50 U.S. Senators and Representatives and others who serve as “celebrity chefs.”
“The NACDS Foundation is honored to help present this amazing opportunity in support of March of Dimes programs and research, and we are equally honored to partner with March of Dimes throughout the year,” said NACDS Foundation President Kathleen Jaeger.
“During the 2017-2018 flu season, the NACDS Foundation and March of Dimes helped to raise awareness of flu-prevention strategies through a radio media tour. We also have partnered on other public health issues, such as raising awareness of the Zika virus and steps that can be taken to protect mothers and babies. Consistent collaboration across a spectrum of issues reflects the true spirit of collaboration between the NACDS Foundation and our partners.”
